Application data

The bulk of the CDM+ application is installed with the Application executable in the Applications or Program Files folder. However, a subset of the installation resides inside the user's folder to allow full read-write access in compliance with the operating system's security measures. These files are collectively referred to as Application data.

When you install, update, or remove CDM+ the Application data is automatically managed. However, you may need to access the application data for troubleshooting or to reset this component of the installation to factory defaults.

The Library folder is hidden. See How to access hidden files in the user's home folder.

macOS

Replace <user> with the user name of the current user.

/Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/Suran/CDM+

Alternatively, you can click on the "Go" menu in Finder, then hold the Option key down and click on Library. Then navigate to the folder:

Windows
%LOCALAPPDATA%\Suran\CDM+

The application data folder uses the name of the application on macOS, or the folder containing the application executable on Windows. If you rename the application or its folder, you will get a separate application data folder.

For example, renaming CDM+.app on macOS to CDM+ Production.app would create an application data folder of:

/Users/<user>/Library/Application Support/Suran/CDM+ Production

On Windows, changing %PROGRAMFILES%\Suran\CDM+  to %PROGRAMFILES%\Suran\Church App  would create an application data folder of:

%LOCALAPPDATA%\Suran\Church App
