Settings file
The settings file stores configuration for CDM+, namely database servers, the last database used, and if the Setup Assistant has been completed. The settings file resides on the user's local filesystem and does not contain information specific to the organization—that data is all in the CDM+ database.
You may need to delete the settings files to reset CDM+ to a factory configuration during troubleshooting. You can find the settings file at the paths indicated below.
If you need to delete the settings file be sure to close CDM+ first.
If you're trying to delete the settings file to force the Setup Assistant to open when opening CDM+, be sure to look for settings files from older versions. CDM+ will attempt to import settings from older versions if it can't find the settings file, so be sure to delete all settings files when you need to force CDM+ to open to the Setup Assistant.
