A person with both Address and Individual Records in your CDM+ database moves in with another person or persons with an existing Address Record.
For example, this scenario would apply when a church members marry or if aging parents move in with adult children.
Open the Individual Record of the person who is moving and click on the Name tab.
Click Change on the lefthand sidebar. In the Address Information section of the Name pane, click the Select Address button. A new window will open.
Find the Address Record of this person's new family (e.g., new spouse or adult children). Click the correct line once to highlight it and click Select on the righthand sidebar. You will see the Address Information on this Individual Record change to the name and address on the Address Record you selected. Click Save to finish.
If Giving Unit is available in the left-hand sidebar, this individual is related to a Giving Unit Record. Click Giving Unit in the sidebar to open the related Giving Unit record. Click Change on the lefthand sidebar, then click Select Address. Again, a new window will open. Find and highlight the new address, then click Select in the righthand sidebar. Click Save to finish.
If there are additional persons moving, such as children or another elderly parent, repeat the process for their Individual Records.
You will likely need to make some changes to the Address and Individual Records to reflect the changes in the family (such as family status, salutation, last name, married date and place, etc.). If the new family home is a different address, you will need to change that also.
If there are no Individual Records or Giving Units still tied to the second Address Record when you are finished, you may delete it.
