Installation Steps

Step 1: Check system requirements

Check the CDM+ System Requirements to ensure all computers that will run the version version meet system requirements. This is especially important when upgrading between major versions.

Step 2: Backup your data

Back up all databases that will be updated to the new version. If you subscribe to CDM+ SAAS or Data Hosting you can contact support to make a backup or simply rely on the nightly backup.

Step 3: Download the installer

Click the link above to download the installer for your platform.

Step 4: Install the new version

Follow the Installing CDM+ guide to install CDM+. This will remove previous versions of CDM+ from your computer. 

Step 5: Update your database(s)

Open CDM+ and update your database(s) to the current version. 

Issues resolved in CDM+ 9.1r4


  • 101650: Print manager error: Attempt to add duplicate section on budget report showing monthly detail
  • Changes to page setup on open/close periods not being recalled
  • Force columns to fit on page is causing overlap on Custom Listing reports
  • In Microsoft Windows, the drop down for Vendor List in Ledger Entries does not show the OK and Cancel buttons.


  • Fixed an issue where attempting to archive from a client computer with no server installed would produce errors


  • Visitor Letters not saving One Per Household options and not Combining first names on Enhanced Notices
  • Visitor Master List isn't respecting Visitor Statuses with Transferred visitores


  • Resolved an issue that let errors during manual backup go unreported.
  • Updated the e-mail settings for automatic backup failures to use the correct mail server domain


  • The Select Address window is not coming up as the frontmost window when you click New Individual under Staffed CICO.

COG Church

  • The fields within the Treasurer/Remarks tab of the church Treasurer's Report does not hold data when entered.

COG Regional

  • FL COG Deposit report for the Insurance program standard search not working
  • Regional versions error when doing an advanced find only on church info in the Birthdates by month report
  • Trying to limit a Minister Missing report to an advanced find on church info generates an error
  • When entering a COG TR report the Treasurer info does not come over.


  • Clicking on the 'Copy' button in GU Field Maintenance is not copying Pending Codes to Current Codes if the current field is Pending Codes
  • Error In the Giving Unit Email Notice when setup to send emails to 'Active and Inactive' Givers and 'Receives and does not receive' statements.
  • Giver Code Maint reporting duplicate new codes when there are none
  • In the Daily Report of Giving, choosing "N/A" for the Event to find gifts without an event gets "No matching records found"
  • Issue with drop-down Fund box in Modify Batch window in Windows XP at 800 x 600 starting above and behind menu bar
  • Modifying the dates of a previously created batch does not cause the Save button to become active if dates are selected from calendar popup.
  • On the Daily Giving Report setup, the fields for asset and event don't have headers
  • Printing the Giving Detail report to Clipboard is not bringing over notes when run in total buy Fund option
  • Standard Contributions did not disable option to turn on receipts
  • Syntax error when running Pledge comparison report on some systems
  • Test to verify first gift date in update

Data Import

  • While importing accounting using the SF 'Import Accounting' got the message "(kStatementNoResults) There are no results to process." However, the import process appeared to work fine.

DOC General

  • Other circulation notes are truncated


  • Error on email notice if send is clicked without selecting a notice.
  • Issue sending email from a Address/Individual Window via 'Print' - "No matching records found" always comes up

Event Registration

  • Added More related record options on Event Activity Reports

Feedback/Error Reporting

  • Feedbacks and error reports not getting emailed if there is no user defined SMTP server set up


  • Attempting to use a table class for SQL with no session object error when closing reports
  • Envelopes not printing return address if System Address is selected.
  • Fixed an error that could occur when there were certain memcached settings in the database
  • Fixed an issue where CDM+ would constantly prompt for OS X credentials on Macs running Tiger with 64-bit Intel chips (Core 2 Duo, Xeon)
  • When opening CDM+ on a computer with the screen at 800x600 on XP user gets a dialog that tells them they need to be at at least 800x600


  • Address Block in Individual Custom Listing is not formatting down the page.
  • Address Photo is missing from fields for Address Name Badges
  • Error when running Name badges if no label format is selected
  • Individual and Address Records with picture Fields load Slow
  • Saved Search window does not save the sort column.
  • Visitation/Pastoral Records not showing for those users that were granted access under user preferences


  • Error on Event notices if a notice is created then deselected and you try to change the event record again
  • Error when email notices opened for the first time, Select is clicked and selection window is closed without creating a notice.


  • Changing a payroll and choosing to re-calculate taxes constantly increases the amount of percentage-based deductions
  • FICA maximim isn't being respected during payroll calculations
  • Non-Employer Matching Deduction doesn't recalculate when gross pay changes

Simple Find

  • Simple find on Giving Unit Field Maintenance not giving correct modifiers for Yes/No Fields


  • In SST ReconcileTransactionGUIDs, GUID are only being filled in for the first breakdown in any given AccountSchedule
  • Updating an existing membership record get an error from SST


  • CDM+ should automatically repair missing server configurations when attempting to get the server object for the main session
  • Fixed an error that would prevent updates to 8.2 databases
  • Fixed an issue updating 9.0 databases
  • Fixed an issue where a database view that is necessary for Deposit Processing could be missing after a reorganization
