For example, you may have a person who makes a pledge for the 2024 General Fund but also pledges for the 2025 General Fund. Therefore, you will want to create a 2024 General Fund Giving Fund and a 2025 General Fund Giving Fund.
Likewise, if there is a building campaign that people pledged to give to over a three-year period, you might have a Building 2024-2026 Fund. It is important to credit donations against the pledge made.
