Inventory Reports

There are two main reports for inventory items, both of which are available under Reports → Sales Order Reports → Listings and Exports:

• Inventory Item Custom Listing and Export
• Inventory Item Quantity Adjustment Listing and Export

Both of these reports use the common Custom Listing and Export engine, thereby allowing you a great deal of flexibility.

Example Reports

Inventory Stock Report

Print an Inventory Item Custom Listing and Export report for all non-active items showing the description, quantity on hand, SKU, and more of your inventory. Use this report for all your inventory needs.

Go to Reports → Sales Order Reports → Listings and Exports → Inventory Item Custom Listing and Export

Search

1. Click Search in the sidebar
2. Configure the quantity search:
   1. • Any - Search any quantity on hand
      • Range - Search a selected range of quantity; e.g. items between 5 and 50 on hand, 1 and 15, etc.
3. Configure the Categories search:

   1. • All - Search every single Category created

      • Selected - Search individual Categories; e.g. Books, Apparel, etc.

Columns

1. Click Columns in the sidebar
2. Click the small plus button to create a set
3. Enter a description of Inventory
4. Click OK
   

Modify Set

1. Double-click Description under Available Fields 
2. Double-click SKU under Available Fields
   
3. Double-click Quantity on Hand under Available Fields
4. Click Close

Aesthetic

1. Click Columns
2. Click Blank line between results

Configure Sorts and Totals

1. Click the Configure Sorts and Totals button
2. Select Category
3. Check the box marked Subtotal
4. Select Description
5. Click Save

Preview and Export

1. Click Refresh button on the report toolbar to preview your report
2. Click one of the buttons on the report toolbar to Export or Print your report
3. Click Save

Quantity Activity Report

Print an Inventory Item Quantity Adjustment Custom Listing and Export report for a specific inventory item to show purchases and restocking over time. Use this report to predict future need and troubleshoot stock discrepancies.

Go to Reports → Sales Order Reports → Listings and Exports → Inventory Item Quantity Adjustment Custom Listing and Export

Search

1. Click Search in the sidebar
2. Set a search for the dates the quantity was adjusted, to track sales

Columns

1. Click Columns in the sidebar
2. Click the small plus button to create a set
3. Enter a description of Quantity Adjustment History
4. Click OK
   

Modify Set

1. Double-click Adjustment Date under Available Fields 
2. Double-click Adjustment Type under Available Fields
   
3. Double-click Amount under Available Fields
4. Double-click Memo under Available Fields
5. Click Close

Aesthetic

1. Click Columns
2. Click Blank line between results
3. Click Show striping

Configure Sorts and Totals

1. Click the Configure Sorts and Totals button
2. Select Description
3. Check the box marked Subtotal
4. Select Adjustment Date
5. Click Save

Preview and Export

1. Click Refresh button on the report toolbar to preview your report
2. Click one of the buttons on the report toolbar to Export or Print your report
3. Click Save
